All 3 to 4 year olds in England can get 570 free hours per year.  This equates to 15 hours per week during term time.  Some 3 to 4 year olds are eligible for 30 hours free childcare a week (see link below to check eligibility and how to apply).

 

15 hours fully funded are available from the term after your child's 3rd birthday, starting on 1 January, 1 April or 1 September.  You may have to pay for extra costs such as: meals, additional hours, extra activities eg trips.  It may be that your child is eligible for Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) which will give them free school meals during nursery.
