Language learning will equip KS2 children with strategies to learn different languages and grammatical structures. It will give them a sense of the wider world that they live in and of different cultures and approaches to life. Language teaching will include oracy and literacy, and will focus on a practical approach to learning a different language. We want children to approach language learning with resilience, adaptability and enjoyment so that they are ready to move into KS3 with an open mind and a willingness to keep on learning.
At Breage C of E Primary School we use 'Kapow French' to deliver MFL to our pupils.
